The Orion® Tray Retention Safety Shackle

Instructions and Warnings

The Soft Rigging Solutions patented Orion® Shackle is a Tray Retention shackle, also known as an “SUD” (safety up device), made of HMPE fibre rope which is a lightweight, synthetic fibre. It is designed to significantly reduce the potential of manual handling incidents, save time and resources, and minimise downtime when securing surface mobile equipment trays in the “up” position for maintenance to be undertaken.

How To Use Erebus® Shackles

An Erebus® soft shackle floats on water, has no metal parts and is extremely light, and ranges in size from 3 tons to over 500 tons. The video runs through how easy it is to attach the Erebus® Shackle to tow a high wall pump fitted with Magni Y strop which are also manufactured by us.
